Rom 16:5 Likewise greet the church that is in their house. Salute my wellbeloved Epaenetus, who is the firstfruits of Achaia unto Christ.
1 Cor 16:19 The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.
Col 4:15 Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house.
Philem 2 And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellowsoldier, and to the church in thy house:

The Word of God was given at a time when believers in Christ met in designated homes for worship as there were no church buildings as we know them today. But it does being up the question, is there a church in your house today? Is there a church in your earthly tabernacle as the Bible makes reference to our bodies, is there a church in the house that you live in today? Is the Word of God talked about, read, meditated upon in the house that you live in? Is your heart given to the Word of God, do you meditate upon the Bible, do you spend much time in prayer within your earthly tabernacle? Or do you wait until service time to hear the Word, to speak the Word, to sing praises to your savior? Is there a church in your house? There not only should be there needs to be a church in your house. (Deut 6:6-9 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: 7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. 8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. 9 And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.) When people drive by a church building today they know what will be found inside, do people know what is inside your heart today when they see you, do they know what is in your house today when they drive by, do they see a church in your house? They need see Christ in you and the difference Christ has made in and is making in your house for you may very well be the only church they ever see.
