Matt 9:37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;

The Bible uses the word truly or verily almost two hundred times emphasizing the truth of a statement although it should not have to because it is impossible for God to lie. Above we have this statement from Jesus “The harvest truly is plenteous” concerning souls. Could that still be true today with so many ignoring and mocking the Bible, the evangelist, to preacher, the church house? People more and more seem to mock God and the things of God and turn away from the gospel message. What then is the answer, is the harvest plenteous as Jesus said or was Jesus wrong? The answer is in the verse, the laborers are few. In order to have a harvest one must be found working in the field and that is the same when considering a harvest of souls. Jesus had and has the solution. (Matt 9:37-38 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; 38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.) We have been as born again believers commissioned and sent into the harvest field, but are we willing to go and tell others about Jesus and the free pardon of sin, are we willing to be a worker in the harvest field?
