Ps 85:6-10 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?
7 Shew us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation.
8 I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

There are so many voices to listen to in this world today that things can become very confusing if you allow it. CNN, FOX, local news, they are all angry about something and want you to be angry about what they are angry about. The same with each political party and their views and stands change all of the time. Where can one find someone to listen to and know that are always telling the truth, that they will never change and that they do have your best interest at heart? That answer is found in verse eight above, listen to what God has to say, read His perfect, unchanging, eternal Word and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. You will never be turned to folly as stated in verse eight and you will find true salvation in Christ. If you want peace, everlasting peace in this world then you need to turn to the only one who can grant it. Mercy and truth are met in Christ our Lord and perfect peace is found only in Him. Listen to God.
