Ps 112:1-8 Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
5 A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.
KJV
Do you ever dread and worry over news that you know is coming? Tests results from doctors is something that often causes dread and worry. Waiting for one to get safely home from a long journey is something that often causes dread and worry. Loved ones in hospitals often causes dread and worry. We can find ourselves worrying over many things and then I find verse seven above that tells me I need not worry, I need not be afraid of news I am waiting upon, I need not worry. Why? Because I can trust in the Lord and I need not be moved from Him. Take some time today to meditate upon the verses above and see if you can find that place of perfect peace in Christ, if you can find that place where worry does not exist. You can find that place only in Christ.
