Job 23:9-10 On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him:
10 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
KJV
We were driving through the mountains of West Virginia yesterday and the roads were narrow, many steep hills and deep valleys, many twists and turns so that one could not see very far ahead. The GPS told us we were on the right road, advised of twists and turns, and even though we could not see the way it guided us safely to our destination. It did and does remind me of Job 23:9-10 and this spiritual truth, we don’t need to see the way clearly but our Lord always does. There is not a hill or valley, not a twist or turn that He is not aware of, nothing hidden that He does not see and when we follow Him He will bring us to our destination safely. We did arrive guided down unknown roads by our GPS. It is better still to be guided through life by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and we know that He will always, always bring us forth as gold.
