Ex 14:19-20 And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:
20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.

Our camp week begins today as we will welcome campers later this morning. Our evangelist will be there, counselors, staff, kitchen workers, pastors, a nurse, one in charge of games, capable men to take care of any problems that come up, a music leader and more. We are ready but what we need most of all is God in the camp and we are asking for God’s people to be praying for us this week. Asking for the same angel that protected the children of Israel to protect the camp and campers throughout this week. Some are so excited they can’t wait to start, some first time campers are nervous and so on but as God’s people pray all will be well for our God is a great God and our God does hear and answer prayer. Please pray for God’s protection, for a good spirit in the camp, for the evangelist, for no illness or injuries among campers and staff, for souls to be saved and lives changed for Christ. I will try and give updates each morning and share what our great God is doing. Please take time throughout the day to pray for us this week.
