2 Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
KJV
Many are the time I cry out to the Lord from the depths. Who better to turn to, who better able to help in our times of distress, when we are in the depths, than the Lord? And my God is always there to answer, my God is always attentive to my needs. But why wait until we are in the depths to cry out, why wait until troubles seem to be overwhelming us? Why not cry out to God when we are on the mountain top as well? So many times we forget to give our God the thanks that should be continually coming from our mouths, so many times we seem to forget what our God has done for us, why not cry out when we are on the mountain top? If we would cry out to God, if we would give thanks, if we would praise Him in prayer perhaps the times we are in the depths would be much fewer. Try calling out in thanks as well as in need.
