John 10:1-4 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
KJV
So thankful today for the relationship that follows after we enter into the door of salvation. There is one that knows me today, knows my name, knows my needs, knows all about me and will lead me if I but follow Him. My Good Shepherd knows my name. I need that truth today, needed it yesterday, and will need it tomorrow, my Good Shepherd knows my name. I am awed by that truth most all the time. Because I entered the door that He opened, because I trusted Him as my Savior, Jesus takes care of me, knows me, provides for me just as a shepherd cares and provides for his sheep. Do you ever long for such a relationship, long for one to love you enough to lay down his life for you, long for one to lead you to green pastures? Then you need to enter through that open door today, you need Jesus today, you need to be saved today. To enter that door is easy as one needs to acknowledge the need for salvation, the truth that we have sinned, the power of the cross and shed blood of Jesus, repent of our sin and confess Jesus as our savior as we cry out to Him to forgive us and to come into our heart. Have you entered the door today?
