John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
Rev 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
KJV
Have you ever ran towards an open door? The elevator door that was about to close, the door to a store that someone was holding for you, the door of a bus that was about to close, have you ever ran towards an open door before it closed? The door that is Jesus, the door to eternal life, the door to heaven is a door that you need to run towards, a door that you need to get inside before it closes. The second verse above is the last place the word door is found in the Bible and you need to make sure, as I did many years ago, that you get inside before it closes. If one misses an elevator because the doors closed, or a bus, they just wait for the next one, but there is just one door of salvation, just one door that leads to eternal life and it is open for all today, it is an open door. But just like the door to the ark we looked at earlier this week it will close one day and when it does close it will not open again. The one that is asking you to enter into the door today loves you, died for you, and rose from the dead for you so you could enter in and is even knocking on the door of you heart today. (Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.) Why not enter into the door to eternal life today?
