Gal 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Perhaps the biggest challenge for a free people is to remain free and America has engaged in many wars after the war for independence. In all of those wars freedom was at stake. We also are engaged is a spiritual war with freedom or liberty at stake. Why would one after being delivered from the bondage of sin ever want to go back? But so many who claim the name of Jesus, so many who claim to be saved fall back into sins Christ has given them victory and freedom over. Salvation is not in the balance but a victorious Christian life is. Our nation continued to go to wars so we could remain free and so do we as Christians need to resist the devil, separate from sin so we can enjoy the liberty we have is Jesus Christ. Happy 4th of July.
