There was poem that hung on the wall by our dining room table at home when I was growing up titled “Children learn what they see” and I am reminded of that as I watch the children in VBS begin to bond with their teachers and other leaders through the week and even beginning from Monday to Tuesday. Some younger ones who are new to us afraid on Monday, not sure if they want to be apart from mom or day and on Tuesday they go to class time, play the games, paint crafts and seemingly are at ease and today it will be better still. That is why we thank the Lord for good Christian examples who are serving. Even those children we may not see again are being touched by a good example in the Lord. Mark those ones and thank the Lord for them.
