Ps 127:1-2 Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.

There are times when sleep seems hard to come by and for a number of reasons. Events of the day, worries over health, worries about family, one can even be so tired they cannot sleep. Last evening I could not sleep and not for any of the above reasons, just a night when sleep was hard to come by. But when the Lord Jesus Christ is in charge of your life, when He rules your home and life, when you are born again there are some things that never need take sleep from you. We should never lose sleep because we feel alone because we are not. We should never lose sleep over the future because all is in His capable hands. We should never lose sleep because of health concerns for Jesus is able to heal according to His will and always does all things well. And for sure we never need lose sleep because we worry about where we will spend eternity being held in His mighty hand. In this world we will experience sleepless night but there are some things we never need lose sleep over.
