Gal 5:16-17 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

How great is the battle that rages within the believer in Christ day by day? Our flesh, Satan, the world we live in all moving against a walk with and communion with our Lord and Savior. The battle is great and the enemies are strong. But we do see the path to victory over the flesh, over Satan and over the world in verse sixteen. “Walk in the Spirit”. How? Begin you day in prayer asking for the Holy Spirit to rule in your life today, to lead and guide you, to govern your thoughts and action. Begin you day in the Bible asking for direction and strength, for wisdom from the Lord. Meditate upon His Word throughout the day and stay in constant prayer with the Lord. You will begin to find victory but the keys to that victory must be maintained each day. Our enemy never takes a day off and we should never take a day off from our Lord.
