James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
KJV
Have you ever stopped to think about how many decisions you will make in a day? Then to consider how many of them you prayed about? Most of us go throughout a day making decisions and seldom pray about them or what may be the outcome of the decisions we make. We do pray about what we consider big decisions asking God to speak to our hearts and direct our steps, at least we should. But what if we asked for wisdom in ever decision we make? I will be leaving the house in a few hours and making several stops. What one first? What route should I take as there are a few that will take me to the same place? What time should I leave the house? Those are all decisions I will make and truth be told some times without prayer. Perhaps if we take everything decision to the Lord in prayer then we will be better equipped to hear answers to our prayers when we have big decisions to make. Yes, I do pray often about what route to take, where to go first, even what time to leave the house. God will give wisdom in every decision if we but ask.
