Daily Devotions

Ps 48:1-2 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.
2 Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

Is the God you know, the God you placed faith and trust in, the God of your salvation beautiful for every situation you find yourself in? That is what the Bible states in verse two above, that He is “Beautiful for situation”. So many times the circumstances of this life, the situations we find ourselves in can overwhelm us it seems. The storms so great it seems they cannot be overcome and in times like those we may begin to question our God. It is then we need to remember that our God does all things well, that our God is an every present help, that our God is our refuge and we need to fly to Him. We will find our God beautiful in situation if we place all things into His vary capable hands and ask for strength and grace each day. Then even in the midst of any situation we will find a peace and a calmness that lets us know that our God is in control and that He is indeed beautiful for situation.
