Do you know that your redeemer lives today? All over this world people make pilgrimages to the graves of so called religious leaders. They want to visit the grave, weep at the grave, leave gifts at the grave of one that they followed. The born again believer in Jesus Christ has no such pilgrimage to make, no grave to weep over, no gift to leave at the base of a tombstone. But we do not lack what other religions have, we have gained what they do not have, our redeemer lives. What Job knew thousands of years ago we know today, that Jesus Christ arose from the grave, that Jesus is alive today, and that Jesus is coming back for His own one day. What a blessing it is to know that my redeemer lives today. In just a few moments I will be in prayer and those prayers will be offered up to one who hears because I know that He lives.
