Daily Devotions

Gen 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

Cold today, rain coming, perhaps changing to snow, didn’t anyone tell whoever it is that controls those things that it is April and supposed to be getting warmer? What happened to the global warming? My Bible tells be who is in control of all things and will be until the end of the world. All things continue in this world and will continue as Almighty God directs. I say that with praise and thanksgiving this morning because that same God directs all that takes place in the lives of His children and promises us that He will guide us through whatever it is that we may face in this life. There will be times of rain as well as sunshine in our lives, times of warm and times of cold, beautiful days and dark nights, but our God is in control. Than that very same God invites us to come to Him in prayer asking Him to meet our needs and even change the circumstances of our lives. Our God is able to do great and mighty things in the lives of His children. (Jer 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
; Eph 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,) Now I am not going to ask God to change the weather for us this morning but I am going in the next few moments ask Him in prayer to do great and might things and it is a blessing to remember as I go to Him in prayer that He controls all things.
