March 13th, 2025 by Pastor SolleyMatt 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
John 14:26-27 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
KJV
The Great Commission comes not only with promises of His presence and His power as we noted yesterday, it also comes with a promise of peace as well. The peace promised in John fourteen comes as we have said what the Holy Ghost would have us say especially when telling others about Jesus. Have you ever been troubled by one you know having past and you don’t know if they were saved or not and you never told them about Jesus and the plan of salvation? I have been more than once and that need not be the case when we did tell them about Jesus before they left this world. They still may not have been saved, but we did all that we could in telling them about Jesus. That sadness of death and separation is still there, but there is a certain peace that we did what we could, we did what we were commissioned to do. We cannot save anyone, only Jesus saves, but we can tell those we know and those we don’t about our Lord and find peace in that.
