Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no?
But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt ye me?
Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered and said, Caesar’s.
And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar’s, and unto God the things which be God’s.

Whose image, whose superscription is on you today? Is it one of the world, or is it one of Jesus? When people look at you who do they see, whose image do they see? I know who they should see if you are born again. (Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. ; Acts 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.) So much like Jesus people could tell they had been with Him, so much like Jesus they were called Christians. Is that the image people see in you, is that your superscription? The main way the lost are going to see Jesus Christ today is through the born again believer. We are the only Bible a lost individual may see, the only avenue that may lead them to the one who can save them, to Jesus Christ. That being said, they need to see the stamp of Jesus on our lives more today than ever before. Whose image, whose superscription is on you today and which way is it leading people, to the Lord Jesus Christ or to the world?
