Gal 4:4-5 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
KJV
In just under twenty hours from now we will celebrate the giving of the Son of God into this sin cursed world. Did Jesus come into this world on December 25th? I have heard many criticize over the years setting aside this date and they make considerable arguments. But what I do know is that Jesus Christ did come into this world and that He came in that perfect appointed time. The date is not important to me, that He came is vital to me and all of us today. Jesus came to be born of a woman, to live a perfect and sinless life, to die upon a cross shedding His precious blood, to raise alive from the grave having victory over sin and death, and to offer eternal life to me. That is what is important to me and it is fitting we set aside a date to honor Him who reigns above for what He did in coming into this world. Jesus came in the fulness of time so that you and I could be saved and it you are not born again this is your appointed time, this needs to be the day of your salvation. (2 Cor 6:2 For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) I was born again just days before December 25th fifty six years ago and tomorrow will be a special day for me as I thank my heavenly Father for giving His Son, Jesus Christ, into this world in that fulness of time.
