Snow in the forecast for our area on Friday which will increase a question I have been asked many times already “Are you ready for winter?” I am. Wood has been cut, split, stacked and cured so that it is ready to burn which we have been dong since the first of October. The wood boiler is fine, works well, the house has been and will be warm, I am ready for winter and the cold and snow. Many faithful messengers have said winter is coming. A more important question this morning “Are you ready to meet Jesus Christ face to face, are you ready to give account to Almighty God, are you sure of your place in eternity?” Life in this world will end for all of us one day, for some it will be today, and then eternity begins. Will you spend eternity in heaven or in hell. Both are real dear friend and this messenger wants you to consider today where you will be after your heart stops beating in this world. Jesus Christ died for your sin, shed His blood on the cross, and stands today waiting to hear the repentant soul call out to Him to be saved. There is no other way. (Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.) Are you ready for your life to end today? That is the most important question you will ever be asked. Be ready today.
