Eccl 9:10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
KJV
Good advice from one who knew what he was talking about. In the early portion of his life Solomon did all with all of his might and he was found serving the Lord. God blessed that king who was following in the footsteps of his father David in great ways because Solomon had given his whole heart to the Lord. Then for many years Solomon did all for himself and did that will all of his might as well. What did it get him? (Eccl 1:2 Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.) His life became empty despite all the money, wealth, fame and pleasures of the flesh. Solomon had no joy because he no longer did all for the Lord. Then near the end of his life Solomon returned to that which is most important. (Eccl 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.) Once again he served the Lord with all his might. Whatever you find yourself doing today do it with the Lord Jesus Christ in front of you, serve Him with all your might.
