Are there times when verse twenty above seems to be lacking in your life? The promise there is not that God will hear and answer our prayers, the promise is that God will do above and beyond what we ask or what we could ever imagine God could do. Are there times that promise seems to be lacking in your life? Could that be because we are not found in verse nineteen, not found seeking and walking in the fulness of God? Many want all of God but do not want to give God all of themselves. The Bible says “That ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.” The word might is there because we must want that fulness, must commit to having that fulness, must give all of self to our Lord and Savior. Many claim Jesus but want Jesus to have no claim on them. Does Jesus have your heart, have your devotion, have your time, does Jesus Christ have your fulness? When that answer is no why do we think that we can lay claim on His fulness? What if Jesus gave to you today only what you give to Him? If we want to live in verse twenty we must also live in verse nineteen.
