Col 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

When one is saved, born again, they gain peace with God. Once an enemy of God and separated because of sin Jesus Christ gives us peace with God through His shed blood washing away that sin when one repents and cries out for forgiveness and salvation. With salvation comes our peace with God and that can never be taken away. But peace of God comes when we are found walking with Him, following His will and obeying His commands. Peace of God comes when we are found trusting God all the time and in every way. This peace of God can be interrupted many times in our lives. Circumstances of life that cause us to question God can interrupt our peace of God. Trials of life that cause us to doubt the love of God for us can interrupt our peace of God. Health problems, financial problems, can interrupt our peace of God. During those times we need remember all that God has done for us in the past, all that God is doing even through the trials of this life and all that God will do for us. During those times we need put on the peace of God. It is always there dear brother and sister, we need then to put that peace on and allow that peace that passes all understanding to rule in our lives. Peace with God and peace of God, nothing is more important than those two things.
