Ps 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
Ps 2:1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
KJV
I am not sure if a greater contrast between two chapters in the Bible can be found than the one between Psalms chapter one and two. The first Psalms begins with a statement, the second with a question. Great and many are the blessings of God, so great and so many that if I would write them all down it would take everyday of the rest of my life no matter how long that would be. And then the question in Psalm 2 is one that we can ask so many times as we see the anger of the lost against God growing stronger and stronger day by day. That question would not be asked if people would just come to Jesus Christ and be born again. The anger would subside if people would get saved. But that is the problem is it not? People reject Christ, reject the gospel, deny the one who gave His life to save them and the Bible as well and they fill up with anger that is fueled by Satan. We live in a very angry world today and that is proof that the Bible is true. But the blessings of God are still available for any and all who will repent and come to Jesus Christ. Are you part of the angry today? Why not turn to Jesus Christ, why not turn from sin, why not be born again, why not walk in the blessings of the Lord instead of the anger of the world? Why not call out and be saved?
