Ps 74:17 Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter.

Came across this verse as the weather turns cold here in PA and was thinking how God created all things, set all things in motion, controls all things and will keep all things. (Gen 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.) One hears often today from the liberal that the things named in Gen 8:22 are going to change and are going to stop unless man does something about it. Stop greenhouse gasses, stop global warming, stop this and stop that or this world will be destroyed. This world will continue as long as our God wants it to continue. There will always be the seasons of the year as we know them, there will always be summer and winter for Almighty God controls those things. One day this world is going to be destroyed, one day all things as we know them now will come to an end and that because God is going to judge this world because of sin. God will also judge individuals for their sin and that end will be hell. Praise God that Jesus Christ came into this world to save sinner like me. (Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.) I praise God this morning that my eyes were opened to my sin, my heart was convicted by the Holy Spirit of that sin, and I asked Jesus Christ to forgive me and turned to Him and away from sin. I am not perfect but Jesus is and He is willing and able to forgive any and all who come to Him. Are you saved this morning, are you born again? If not come to Jesus today because just as sure as there is summer and winter He is willing to save you.
