November 28th, 2023 by Pastor Solley1 Thess 5:23-24 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

It is not very often in today’s world that you find one who will do what they say they will do. The contractor will get the job done by this date, the repair man will be there at this time, your bill will be exactly this much and so on. It is not often that you find one who will do what they say they will do and when they will do it. But our God is not like that, our Lord is not like that. One of my favorite verses in the Bible is found in the book of Hebrews. (Heb 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:) God cannot lie, Jesus cannot lie. What the Bible says God will do. God will save all who call upon the name of Jesus Christ.
(Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.) Those who call in faith and believing on the name of Jesus will never be forsaken. (Heb 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.) The prayers of God’s people will be heard and answered. (Jer 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.) The promises we find in the Bible are many and not one of them will be broken. “Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.” If God is that faithful to us as His children how faithful should we be to our God?
