Col 2:6-7 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

What should one expect of life after they repent of sin and turn to Jesus Christ for forgiveness of their sin and salvation? What does the Christian life bring to the born again believer in this world? So many who are lost and even some professing Christians who do not give all to Christ think it is a life that deprives one of the joys of life. I have heard many times over the years that Christians can’t have any fun. But in our text we find the Christian life and walk is one that brings stability to life as one is rooted in the Lord. We find it is a life of assurance and security as one is established in the faith. We find it is an abundant life as we are abounding in the Lord. We also find it is a life of thanksgiving. What those things all add up to is a life of joy unspeakable. What a joy it is to be a Christian.
