Rev 1:12-17 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

In this description of Jesus in heaven we find the last use of the word snow in the Bible in verse fourteen. Why is this important to me today? This morning I am looking at our first snowfall of the season here in central PA. I am always reminded as I look at the first snowfall of Jesus and just how perfect He is. Everything here around my earthly home is covered with a fresh beauty, perfectly white, no imperfections at all and that does remind me of Jesus Christ. It also reminds me of the justification of the born again believer that we looked at yesterday. Made perfect, no faults, no blemishes, no tracks of sin, all by the blood of the precious Lamb of God. When the Father looks at the believer He sees a new fallen snow and all because of the Son, all because of the Lord Jesus Christ. On this day each year I am reminded to be ever so thankful for my salvation because each and ever day I am seen by my heavenly Father as perfect and all because of Jesus. Did not say I was perfect, that I was sinless or that I even remotely deserve to be seen that way. But I can say thank you Jesus for saving me, for washing my sins away, and for letting my heavenly Father see me just that way. Are you saved today, have your sins been washed away, have you been made whiter than snow by Jesus? If not, what are you waiting for? Trust Jesus today.
