I was thinking about my earthly father the other day as his birthday passed and how much I would like to talk to him again. He has been gone now for a number of years and we were very close especially the last few years of his life. He was saved so he is not lost as I know where he is. He was not taken but was delivered to his heavenly father. Still it would be good to once again talk to him. But then I do have a Father I can talk to each day and several times a day. I have a Father I can go to for advice, for direction, and for help anytime of day or night. I have a Father who is waiting to hear from me this very moment. Earthy fathers are very special, good ones are, but our heavenly Father goes well beyond them in His love for us, His care for us, His ability to help and to lead us, our heavenly Father truly is special. Do you know Him today? Will you spend time with Him today? Can you say “Abba Father” today because of the time you will spend with Him and the closeness you have with Him? So blessed because of my heavenly Father today.
