Daily Devotions

Acts 2:11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

How often do you hear today people speaking about the wonderful works of God? How often do you hear people complain about our God? Did you know that God can only do wonderful things? The Bible tells me that there is no darkness in God. (1 John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.) No darkness at all in God, no evil, nothing bad in God. Why then do so many bad things happen in this life? Choices is the one word answer. Why did sin and all that came with it come into this world? Choices. Why are prisons and jails full? Choices. Why do many of us have the health problems that we do? Choices. God does allow us to chose, we do have a free will and very often we make bad choices. Why no chose today to praise God for His goodness and the good things that God does for us each and every day? Why not speak the wonderful works of God and let those around us know just how good God has been and is being to us? Why not chose to praise?
