Daily Devotions

Ex 14:19 And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:

We begin our week of camp on Monday and we are asking our God to do the same for us as He did for Israel, send an angel to protect us. This will be our 23rd year of camp and each year we face the unknown, each year Satan tries to interrupt and destroy what God is doing and we need our God to intervene and protect us. We do need God to place a hedge around us as He was accused of doing with Job and we need God’s people to be praying. Spend some time in prayer today and each day through the next eight in prayer for us I ask. We have an evangelist with us for the first time and we pray the Holy Spirit leads in the messages in a special way. We have many first time campers who will be with us. We have some teens needing direction in their lives who will be with us. We have some first time staff workers who will be with us. We have a new building that we are breaking in. Many new things this year but praise His name the same God. I will try and give an update each day beginning on Monday and so I ask for God’s people to be in prayer.
