Eph 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
1 Thess 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Does God have purpose for our life? The answer to that question is yes. Should we be thankful for the plan and purpose of God in our lives? The answer to that question is also yes. Why should we be thankful for the will of God in our lives? That is another question. We should be thankful because of the wisdom of God, because of the all knowing nature of God, for the love of God for us, for the fact that God does all things well. Now for that to be true we must trust God. Not say we trust God, trust God. There will always be questions in this life, always things we do not fully understand. There will always be circumstances we wish we could change, things we wish could be different and in those times we must trust God. In every thing we need give thanks for God is working after the counsel of His own will and to have God working His will out in our lives is a blessed thing. Pray for the will of God in your life today, seek the will of God in your life today, and give thanks always for the will of God in your life. Our inheritance awaits us in heaven as born again believers, give thanks for it while in this world for God is working out all things according to His will.
