2 Cor 1:20-21 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;
KJV
Do you know someone who has never broken a promise? The most probable answer to that question in no. I have broken several promises in my life and will break many more. Some because I simply forgot the promise that was made. Some because with good intentions I made promises I could not possible keep. And others because of unforeseen circumstance that came about after I had made a promise. I do not like to break promises but it has happened in the past and most likely will happen again. But I do know one who has never and will never break a promise. All of the promises made by God are “Yea and in Him Amen”. The promises I read in the Word of God, made by God, will never be broken. God has promised eternal life to all who repent of sin and turn to Him for forgiveness and salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ. That promise will never be broken. God has promised to hear and answer prayers that are offered up asking for His will to be done. That promise will never be broken. God has promised blessings for those who walk with Him. That promise will never be broken. God has promised wisdom for those who will ask of Him. That promise will never be broken. When you feel like there is no one who can help or understand what you are going through remember there is one who has never and will never break a promise. “Ever promise in the book is mine.”
