I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:
And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.

One last things about Noah this week. God gave as a promise of His faithfulness and bow to be in the clouds and God said it would be a sign of His faithfulness. I did learn in science class in school what conditions are needed for a rainbow to appear in the sky. I know to watch in the afternoon. I know to look in the same direction the sun is shining on a rainy day. I learned of the spectrum of light. I learned the conditions needed for a rainbow. But I choose to look to my Bible and read of the promise of God when I see a rainbow. Notice again verse fourteen. (Gen 9:14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:) God brings the cloud, God brings the rains, God set the sun in the sky, and God makes the rainbow. All of these thousands of years later I see that my God is faithful and true each time I see a rainbow. Side note, while on a missions trip a few years ago, high up in the Alps, I was able to look down upon a rainbow. The first thought that came to mind was of my God looking down upon His children and His faithfulness to us.
