And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
Another quality of a Godly mother is patience. Note that she crieth after Jesus. She continues to cry out even as it seems she is not being heard. Jesus heard her from the first but that was not the time that her prayer would be answered. How many years did my mom pyay for me specific request? Some of them I know and they were prayers over many years but she continued to cry out to God and after God. The prayers I know about I can confirm that they were answered in the very way she was praying. Be patient and continue to cry out to Jesus for He hears and will answer.
