Neh 9:38 And because of all this we make a sure covenant, and write it; and our princes, Levites, and priests, seal unto it.

Many are the covenants made by God that will not be broken. Consider this morning the covenant of His Word. God has given to man His unbreakable Word. (Ps 119:89 For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.) Here is an agreement, His Word, that will never be broken, will never pass away. (Matt 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.) His Word is a living Word and it does abide forever. (Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.) That means I can open the my King James Bible and hear from the God of heaven. I can open my Bible and find eternal truth. I can open my Bible and find direction for this very day. God who cannot lie has given me truth to follow today. I just listened to a campaign add put out by our current President here in America and did not hear one thing that is true. But I can open my Bible and read NOT one thing that is not true. Thank God today for the covenant of His Word, a covenant we can depend upon.
