“And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.” Another step of obedience taken by Peter was to thrust out from the land a little. Jesus was already in the ship. But if they could get in with Him and move just a little from the shore more people could hear the good news. Peter was more obeyed Jesus. Now Jesus was not only in the ship, Peter was with Him. A walk with Jesus is a walk of obedience,it brings us close to Jesus and makes us even more useful for our Lord. Are you walking with Jesus today, are you in the same ship?
