1 Kings 17:22-23 And the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.
23 And Elijah took the child, and brought him down out of the chamber into the house, and delivered him unto his mother: and Elijah said, See, thy son liveth.
KJV
Are you listening for a voice that will revive you today? Elijah was the voice of God among the people, Elijah spoke for God, Elijah was the go between. That child had died, there was no life left in him. The man of God was called and now the voice of God was heard and the child revived. Are you listening to the voice of God today, are you listening for the voice of God today? We need revival in our land, in our churches, in our families and in our lives we need revival. But what voice or voices are you listening to? Only the voice of God will revive you, encourage you, lift you up, bring life to you, only the voice of God. But we do not need wait for a prophet, for a man to being revival today because we have the voice of God before us. We have our Bible, the very Word of the living God. We have prayer, the very ear of the powerful God. We have the one who brought this world into being before us today and He wants to hear from us. But are we listening for His voice? How much time will you spend in the Bible today? How much time in prayer today? How long will you meditate upon the words you read and the words you say to God. Little time points to little revival. No time points to no revival. But what if we were given to, listened for, and heard the voice of God today. That dead child revived and so can we.
