Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth.
There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet.
And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.

I watched a very interesting DVD about the earth and the universe recently and two perspectives were given. One of course about a big bang and the other about a creator. The first claimed that we are very insignificant, just nothing compared to a vast universe that we are by chance a part of. The other, while not trying to prove creation, claimed that we are important because we are the only planet with life, with beauty, with resources, so we must be important. The Christians knows just how important we are to God and Psalm eighteen points that truth out. One call from us in distress and the very God of creation, the Almighty God of eternity, hears and comes down to help and lift us up. He rides upon the cherub like the wind and comes to our aid. We are important dear friend, we are significant to God, so significant that the very Son of God came into this world and gave His life that we might have eternal life through Him. How individuals can go through life without Him is beyond me because I find that I need Him more and more with each passing day. Praise God we matter to God.
