Joel 2:16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.

Even after the secret Christian came out and stood with Elijah and gave the gospel as we see with the seven thousand in Israel and with Jonah they missed the blessings of God they could have enjoyed had they just been what they should have been. Jonah never fully recovered as we read the last chapter of that book. We never hear of any of the seven thousand in Israel, only of Elijah. What of the hundreds or even thousands of those who could have stood up with the three when ordered to bow on the plain of Dura in Daniel chapter three? If we truly desire the full blessings of the Lord in our lives then we need to stand up and be noticed as a Christian. Not rioting in the streets, not calling names, not doing any of the things that the lost are doing, just be a Christian. Witness, pass out gospel tracts, stand apart from sin and stand with Jesus. Just those simple things will get one noticed today. But how few are willing to do the simple things and how many miss the blessings of God? Are you willing to so the simple things?
