14 And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.

The man standing with them was the lame man healed at the temple by the power and name of the Lord Jesus Christ in the previous chapter. One thing that cannot be denied by unbelievers is the life that is changed by the Lord Jesus Christ. That man could not walk and now he could and the only difference in his life was Jesus Christ. When lives are changed today by Jesus it cannot be denied. That is why others need to see Jesus in the born again believer, they cannot deny lives that are changed by Jesus. I know alcoholics who have never taken a drink again after they were born again and all because of Jesus. I know families who were in much trouble and now are sound and happy and the only difference is that dad and mom found Jesus Christ. I know some who had been in deep, dark holes of depression who now stand on mountain tops and the only difference in their life is Jesus. When others see Jesus Christ in us it makes a difference. You may never have been an alcoholic, never have had serious families problems, never been in that dark hold of depression and praise the Lord for that and that is as well a way that others can see Jesus in you. When others see in you a different way of life, a path that never took you into the troubles that others have because they walk after Satan and not after Jesus they also can take note that you have been with Jesus. Give others a picture of life with Christ that cannot be denied.
