Daily Devotions

Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

In verse ten above we find the second much more of this chapter. Justified by His shed blood we now have been reconciled with God. We were born into this world enemies of God because of our sin nature and then our sin actions. God is the creator of all and has power over all and because of sin the wrath of God would have been poured out upon us and the result of that wrath and righteous judgment would have been an eternity in hell. But now we are reconciled to God because of the work of Jesus Christ on the cross and our coming to Him and Him alone for salvation. No longer an enemy of God we now are a friend of God, a child of God and all because of Jesus. God is truly our God, our life is has become Christ’s life, the Holy Spirit has become our guide, we stand in complete fellowship with Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We are much more reconciled.
