2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
KJV
I hope dear Christian that you will take time and with thanksgiving praise the Lord this day. Each year holds many changes and as I look back over the past year this Thanksgiving Day there have been many changes take place over the past twelve months and some of those changes have brought heartaches and pain. Tears have been plentiful over the past year and only one things has surpassed them and that the blessings of God through it all. Let those words of Psalm 100:5 sink deep into your heart and soul today “For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.” Our God is always good all of the time. I am reminded today that forty two years ago my wife and I were not able to spend our first Thanksgiving as husband and wife together as she was in the hospital and the outlook was not good as we had received some very distressing news from the doctors on Wednesday morning. Nothing to do but pray and turn all over to our God and trust. All these years later and we will begin another Thanksgiving Day in the house of God together for a special service. Never forget the words of the Psalmist and how many times those words have been proven true in your life “For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.” Happy Thanksgiving.
