“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”
What happens when the born again believer is received up into the glory of the Lord and the arms of Jesus? The Bible holds the answers to our many questions. First we are escorted at once by angels that we have never seen but have always been at our side. ? Luke 16:22
“And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;”
We need this escort because for the first time our eyes are opened to the spiritual world we now live in but cannot see. The enemies that have attacked us so many times, the demons of Satan that we have been delivered from now see us being taken up and we can see anything them. What a blessing to see perhaps some of the same angels that were sent to help and escort Jesus. Our precious Savior will never leave us alone even as we make our journey to His side.
