The phrase feet of Jesus is found two times in the gospel, the first being above. It struck me how many things become right in our minds when we begin each day, have a time each day when we sit at the feet of Jesus. The man in our text had Satan and his demons depart from him, a great calm came over him, he was clothed and the people noticed the difference in him. He was sitting at the feet of Jesus. We can experience the very same things when we spend time at the feet of Jesus. When we spend time in His Word listening and taking in what Jesus has to say to us through His Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit. When we spend time talking with the Lord Jesus Christ in prayer and in quiet meditation. When we sit at the feet of Jesus. For all those who have that time each day you know what I am talking about. For those who do not you may want that calming effect in your life, for your mind to be settled, to be clothed in the righteousness of Christ. Don’t be afraid as the people were when they saw that man for it is always good to sit at the feet of Jesus. Start your day in this way and see of your mind doesn’t become settled, Satan depart and people see a real difference in you.
