Ps 119:14-17 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.
15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.
16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
17 Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.
KJV
What will you think about the most today? What will capture your thoughts, what will you meditate upon? Will it be the inflation that is rising at alarming rates? Will it be the cost of gas? Will it be the rising crime rates? Will it be a sickness? What will you meditate upon today? No wonder there are so many so distressed and depressed today with so many wonderful things to think about. But wait, we do have something wonderful to think about. Would you take note of what the Psalmist says in verses fourteen and sixteen above. He finds rejoicing and delight. How does he find those things? In the good things happening around him? In great riches that have been given to him? In fame? In good health? None of those things. He finds those things when his mind is given to the things of God and the Word of God. I wonder how many of the mountains in our life could be made low if we just gave our minds to the Word of God? We do have something worthwhile to meditate upon today. Would you be given to the Bible today?
