1 John 3:1-2 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

We started our week with these verses and we end our week with these verses. What a day that will be when we see Him as He is. (Verse 2) Are you ready for that day? When we see Jesus face to face it will be as a judge or a savior and that depends on what we do with Jesus in this life. Have you ignored Him, denied Him, mocked Him? Have you acknowledged Him, tried to appease Him with good works and good intention, have you obeyed commands in the Bible out of tradition, have you gone along with religion? Both of those paths will leave you meeting Jesus as a judge. To meet His as judge will leave Him to cast you into the Lake of Fire for eternity. But have you confessed Jesus as the Son of God, as the only way to have sin forgiven, as the one and only door that leads to heaven, as the one who died for your sin and rose again the third day? Have you repented of that sin and called out to Jesus and Jesus alone to forgive and save you from sin. Have you placed your faith and trust in Jesus Christ and His shed blood alone? Are you His child today because you have been born again? If yes you will meet Him as He is as a Savior, your personal savior. Behold, what manner of love. Decide today how you want to see Jesus as He is, a judge or a Savior.
