No pain this preacher has experienced in like the pain of separation brought by death. How can something so painful here in this world be precious in heaven? That has been the question of the week and I pray that question has been answered. When one truly knows Jesus Christ as their savior death becomes precious and not only in heaven but in this world as well. Precious because those who remain have a blessed hope when they know their loved one was born again. A blessed hope that they will see them again when we are also born again. But precious because they know, we know, that there has been a welcoming in heaven into the very arms of Jesus. A welcome into loving arms, caring arms, arms that were stretched out on the cross providing salvation. Precious because our loved ones are where we long to be, with Jesus. I can offer the sacrifice of thanksgiving today when I think of those I have loved and they are now in heaven. I can offer the sacrifice of thanksgiving today when I think of my fried in heaven. I can offer that thanksgiving because I know I am born again. Those who I have been closest to and lost are not lost, they are in heaven because they were saved by the blood of Jesus. My friend was not taken this week, he was received into heaven. Are you born again? Will your death be precious in heaven?
