Isa 40:8-10 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
9 O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!
10 Behold, the Lord God will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

It seems today that the voice that cries the loudest in the one that gets the most attention and while that may have always been true it is also the voice that cries the loudest that is deemed to be right and that is certainly not the case. So loud are the voices that call for laws and actions that go against the Word of God. So loud are the voices that cry for all that is good to be called evil and evil good. If those voices are not obeyed then the threat of violence follows. Where are the voices that will call out for God today? Why have they gone so silent? Above we see the Lord calling out for His people to get on the mountain top and call out for Him, to let their voices be heard. And they were to do that without fear! Notice then that they would not be the ones to move with a strong hand for the Lord would do that. Their part was to publish His greatness, to proclaim His name, to lift up His Word. I wonder if the Christian would do that today if God would begin to move in great and mighty ways as He has done in the past in America. I wonder but I also know the answer and that answer is yes. It is time for those who know Jesus Christ to begin to lift up our voices for Him.
